A highly experienced manager with an extensive track record in the electronics and microelectronics development and manufacturing industry, Fran brings strong programme and project management skills alongside specialist expertise in product management, electronics, embedded systems and IoT technologies to the business. He combines this with a career in academia lecturing in microelectronics at the Universidad de Cantabria and has a masters degree in telecommunications (microelectronics) engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

In her 15 plus years in the business, Cristina has managed several different engineering groups as head of department, bringing managerial and operational acumen plus extensive business development experience to the role. As deputy CEO she made a significant contribution to building the business’ reputation in the market. With project management and systems engineering experience gained at Fundación Leading Innova and Indra Espacio respectively, her technical capabilities also include a degree in Telecommunications & Radiocommunications from the Universidad of Cantabria.

Juan has in-depth knowledge of our business from 25 successful years at senior level with our group companies.  A graduate in physical sciences, electrical and electronic engineering from Universidad de Cantabria, he held engineering management and operations positions with AT&T and Lucent Technologies in the USA before returning to Spain to oversee all aspects of managing TTI and TST, building both into market leaders in their fields.

With a demonstrated track record working in software and electronic manufacturing industries plus expertise in management, M&A, business strategy and turnarounds, Frans has an exceptional skillset. He was previously finance director in innovative companies including Dynniq and Phillips, with experience in publicly traded as well as private equity owned companies. Frans has a BSc and MSc degree in economics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and an Executive Master from the University of Amsterdam Business School.

Malachy brings over 25 years’ high-level technical and executive experience within international technology sectors such as satellite, 5G, aerospace, FPGA computing, software-defined radio and IoT. As a co-founder of various high-growth, investor-backed companies, he has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership in introducing groundbreaking products. Past leadership roles include the Scotland 5G Centre, AAC Clyde Space and Nallatech. Malachy holds a degree in Electronic and Microprocessor Engineering and a PhD in Signal Processing from Strathclyde University and an MSc in Corporate Leadership.

In his 26 years at Celestia Callisto, Benoît has been instrumental in taking the company from a fledgling SME to an industry-standard company leading the market with quality, innovative cryogenic solutions. With a degree in
microelectronics design from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III and a masters in management from
TBS Education in Toulouse, his technical, managerial and entrepreneurial capabilities round out an already exceptional business.

Dougie has vast technical understanding of space and ground systems alongside extensive senior level management and operational experience gained in almost three decades working in the industry. He held a number of key roles in both project management and project assurance management at Satellite Services BV in The Netherlands before moving to an operations role, overseeing the successful merger of the business with the Celestia group and becoming its COO.

As former Commercial Director and Co-Founder of Goonhilly Earth Station, Steve played a key role in delivering funding packages to acquire and redevelop the Goonhilly site.  His experience and relationships in the space communications sector and acumen in business strategy ideally complement Celestia’s extensive technical expertise, proving invaluable in contributing to our continued growth. Steve holds a degree in chemistry from King’s College, University of London.

In his 16 year stint as commercial manager of TTI, Miguel was instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding the business’ customer base whilst creating collaborative opportunities for other group companies. He has a wealth of commercial, technical and business experience alongside in-depth industry knowledge. Miguel is a telecommunications engineer having studied at Universidad de Cantabria and holds MBAs in Business Administration and Management and International Trade.

Sarah works with the group and operating companies to help raise awareness of products and services amongst customers and prospects, and with media and other stakeholders to enhance Celestia’s reputation and visibility. She has a background in B2B, corporate and consumer PR and marketing, having previously worked at global public relations firm Ketchum in London. She has a degree in Classics from King’s College, University of London.

Guy’s multiple years’ of experience in project, people, financial and general management and knowledge of ground segment technologies have come from an extremely successful space industry career. Among the high profile businesses where he held senior roles are Antwerp Space, Thales Alenia Space and Alcatel Bell, closely involved in leading engineering teams and delivering complex satellite testing and ground systems projects. Guy graduated from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven with a masters degree in civil engineering and telecommunications.

As business development lead for satellite ground products at Celestia Antwerp, formerly Antwerp Space, Milo combines vast commercial acumen with technical knowledge gained over a decade in the role. He has particular expertise in managing distribution and partner networks worldwide, developing customer relationships and leading engineering teams to achieve development targets. Milo has a Master in marketing and sales from the University of Antwerp.
