Sales & Business Development Manager

Role & Responsibilities

In this exciting role, you will be a key part of our sales team, reporting directly to the CEO.

You will focus on supporting Celestia Antwerp to grow its pipeline and customer engagement in our innovative communication technology products which include telecommand and telemetry modems, high speed data rate modems, digitisers and satellite test systems.

You will ensure our technology solutions meet customer needs, negotiate agreements with partners and distributors and take part in international trade shows. You will also liaise with customers and our engineering teams to ensure that our solutions meet customer needs.

Preparing commercial proposals and marketing materials as well as providing pre- and post-sales support to customers are all part of this challenging and varied role.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • A background as a commercial engineer or equivalent
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in business development in the satellite or ground segment communications field would be advantageous
  • Ability to translate customer requirements at high level into business value
  • Proficiency in engaging with customers using your strong networking, communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of RF systems and/or digital communication technology would be a big plus
  • Availability for regular worldwide travel
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work independently, in a trusted, precise and organised way
