Junior software engineer
Role & Responsibilities
Due to the business’ current growth, we are looking for a JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our growing business in Santander, Spain.
You will be part of a software team focused on the development of scientific measurement systems for ground and space applications. Although mainly based in Santander, some work in our facility in Madrid may also be required.
Part of the activity will be carried out on customer sites during system testing phases, so a disposition for traveling abroad is needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Educated in computer science, aeronautics or electrical engineering (BSc or higher)
- Good knowledge of Python, Java and C/C+
- Linux daemons
- Databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Communication protocols (TCP, Serial)
- Understanding of radiofrequency equipment would be an advantage
- Web languages (html5, css, php, JavaScript)
- Linux drivers
- Containers
- Concurrent programming
- Knowledge of RTOS, microprocessors would be an advantage
- Unit test
- SDLC
- Good team worker, pro-active and willing to take on new challenges
- Good standard of English
