The Celestia Group has announced the appointment of Miguel Peña as its new Sales Director, a move which further strengthens the business’ sales ambitions as well as the current growth trajectories of the international technology group and its individual operating companies.
Miguel brings extensive commercial, technical and business experience to the role from his time as Commercial Manager of TTI, where he has played a key part in expanding its customer base, whilst opening up collaborative opportunities for other group companies in over 16 years working in the Celestia Group at senior level.
With extensive experience in providing solutions for customers’ satellite ground segment and integrated ground stations requirements, Miguel combines skills in business development and team leadership with a thoughtful contribution to sustainable business growth.
During his time at TTI, a Santander based business which provides cutting-edge technology innovations in radio frequency, antennas and ground stations, Miguel has been instrumental in driving sales growth.
He has built and led a commercial team that has successfully won high value contracts from a growing customer base that spans the aerospace, telecommunications, science, defence and telecom markets, overseen the launch of next generation GaN SSPA solutions for satellite communications that are unique in the marketplace and raised the profile of the business on an international level. All of this whilst keeping opportunities to work more collaboratively with partners in the Celestia Group as well as beyond it, firmly within his sight.
Miguel is a Telecommunications Engineer having studied at the University of Cantabria, holds an MBA Executive in Business Administration and Management from the ESIC Business & Marketing School and an MBA in International Trade from the CECO Business School for Economy and Trade.
